Just one month ago, Chuột was rushed to us with sudden weakness in his back legs. He couldn’t stand, was clearly in pain, and even struggled to urinate. It was a frightening night for both him and his devoted pawrents 💔.

🔬 After thorough examinations (X-rays, CT scan and blood tests), our team stabilised him and began urgent treatment. With careful monitoring, effective pain relief and the right medication plan, Chuột began to show signs of improvement.

📅 Day 1 – Emergency Arrival
Initial tests, including X-rays, a CT scan and a full blood profile, showed bilateral proprioceptive deficits in the hind limbs, while spinal reflexes remained normal. This pointed to a thoracolumbar lesion (T3-L3). Deep pain sensation was still present, which was encouraging, although the overall outlook remained guarded. Possible causes considered were acute intervertebral disc herniation, spinal contusion/haematoma, an ischaemic event, or an infectious/inflammatory condition.

📅 Day 2
Medication was started to reduce swelling and nerve pain. Chuột stabilised, but he could barely move his back legs and needed full support.
A small but important milestone: he managed to urinate on his own for the first time since onset. 💪🐾

📅 Days 3-4
Although still weak, Chuột managed to take a few steps again 🐾✨. Physiotherapy was introduced to aid his recovery.

📅 Day 5-6
He walked short distances with effort – much stronger than before.

📅 Day 7
His hind legs were improving daily. Chuột was ready to return home to his cosy bed 🏡💕. Holistic therapy (TCVM and physiotherapy) would continue to support his long-term recovery.
💖 After each session, Chuột was relaxed, cheerful and full of spirit – truly inspiring us every step of the way.
