In celebration of Tết 2026, ADI is proud to partner with Laws For Paws Vietnam for the Tết Donation Collection Campaign – a community initiative focused on collecting essential supplies for rescued dogs, as well as the dedicated volunteers who care for them every day.

1. Animal rescue goes beyond saving lives or providing medical treatment

The most demanding part of animal rescue often takes place quietly, day after day, through essential but unseen tasks: feeding, cleaning, disinfecting, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring a safe shared living environment for multiple dogs.

With limited manpower and resources, hygiene becomes one of the greatest challenges – yet it is often overlooked. Without proper cleaning and disinfection, skin conditions, fungal infections, and illnesses caused by bacteria or viruses can spread rapidly, affecting not only rescued dogs but also the volunteers who care for them daily.

2. Why ADI and Laws For Paws Vietnam focus on hygiene?

In this donation campaign, ADI and Laws For Paws Vietnam have chosen to prioritise essential items that deliver long-term impact – helping to build a cleaner, safer living environment, an aspect of rescue work that is critical but often underrepresented in public awareness.

🧡 Items we are currently collecting:

✅ Medium-sized dog beds: Providing a clean, comfortable space for rescued dogs to rest and recover 🛏️
✅ Multi-purpose cleaning sprays: Supporting daily hygiene and safer living conditions 🧴
✅ Disinfectant solutions (e.g. Dettol): Reducing the spread of infectious diseases in shared spaces 🧼
✅ Liquid hand soap for human use (e.g. Lifebuoy): Protecting both vulnerable dogs and their caregivers 🤲

3. Community support and the real impact of the campaign

This campaign is only possible through the meaningful support of the pet-loving community. Every contribution, regardless of size, helps ease the daily workload of volunteers while improving living conditions for rescued dogs.

Beyond donations, the campaign also aims to raise awareness:
👉 Proper daily hygiene is a fundamental part of responsible and sustainable animal rescue.
