Your pet deserves nothing less than the best in veterinary care.
And that’s what you’ll find when you trust your pet’s health to us.

Who Let The Dogs In? A Dog-Friendly Sunday at Wink Saigon Centre

On 30 August, Wink Saigon Centre became a little more dog-friendly as pet parents, rescue dogs and animal-loving partners came together for an afternoon dedicated to our four-legged friends.

Hosted at Wink Space, the event brought together Animal Doctors International Vietnam (ADI), Pet Adventures (PA), Laws for Paws Vietnam, MSD Pet Health Vietnam and PawsClub, each contributing something different to make the afternoon informative, engaging, and most importantly, enjoyable for dogs and their humans.

1. Bringing Pet Care and Community Together

For ADI, events like this are about more than simply meeting pet owners outside the clinic. They are an opportunity to make conversations around pet health more accessible and to connect with the wider pet-loving community.

Throughout the afternoon, our veterinary team provided complimentary basic health checks, helping pet parents keep an eye on some of the everyday signs that can be easy to overlook.

From ears and eyes to skin, coat and teeth, these simple checks can help owners become more aware of their pet’s general wellbeing and recognise when something may need further attention.

Good pet care often starts with noticing the little things.

2. Rescue Dogs Looking for Their Next Chapter

The event also created space for Laws for Paws Vietnam and their rescue dogs.

Visitors had the chance to meet and interact with dogs looking for loving homes, turning a casual afternoon out into an opportunity to learn more about pet adoption and the importance of giving rescued animals a second chance.

For many visitors, meeting a rescue dog can be the beginning of something much bigger. A simple hello can sometimes become a new family story.

3. Treats, Samples and Plenty of Tail Wags

PawsClub brought along treats, samples and goodies for the dogs to discover, adding plenty of excitement to the afternoon.

With new smells to investigate, treats to enjoy and plenty of other dogs around, there was no shortage of reasons for our four-legged guests to keep their noses busy.

Meanwhile, MSD Pet Health Vietnam shared practical information about vaccines and pet health products that can support everyday care at home.

Together, these activities helped turn pet health education into something approachable and relevant for pet parents, without making it feel like a trip to the classroom. Even dogs seemed to approve.

4. From Health Checks to Pet Portraits

At Wink, the afternoon was not just about health and education. It was also about celebrating the joy pets bring into our everyday lives.

The Pet Portrait Station gave pet parents the chance to capture a special moment with their dogs, while Wink’s complimentary Puppuccino provided a well-earned reward for every four-legged model.

Because after sitting still for a photo, even the most patient dog deserves a treat.

5. One Afternoon, Four Partners, One Shared Love for Dogs

What made the event special was the different expertise each partner brought to the same community.

From rescue and adoption, to pet nutrition and treats, veterinary care and preventive health, each part of the afternoon reflected a different aspect of responsible pet ownership.

At ADI, we believe that caring for pets goes beyond treating illness. It also means helping pet parents understand their animals better, encouraging preventive care and supporting the communities that make life better for pets and their families.

Events like this create a valuable space for those conversations to happen naturally.

6. Making Pet-Friendly Experiences More Meaningful

As more people in Ho Chi Minh City look for places and activities where pets can be part of everyday life, the idea of a pet-friendly community continues to grow.

A dog-friendly event is not simply about allowing pets through the door. It is about creating an environment where pets are welcomed, owners feel supported and the wider community can learn more about responsible pet care.

From a basic health check to meeting a rescue dog, learning about vaccines or simply sharing a Puppuccino with your best friend, small moments can make pet ownership more informed, connected and enjoyable.

And sometimes, they result in some very good photos.

7. Thank You for “Letting the Dogs In”

ADI would like to thank Wink Saigon Centre, Laws for Paws Vietnam, PawsClub and MSD Pet Health Vietnam for bringing their expertise and energy to the event, and of course, every pet parent and four-legged guest who joined us.

It was an afternoon filled with wagging tails, new connections, useful conversations and plenty of happy faces.

Different expertise. One shared love for dogs.

And hopefully, one more step towards making Ho Chi Minh City an even more welcoming place for pets and the people who love them.

Until the next one, keep those tails wagging. 🐾
